When you walk into the Mari Mari Cultural Village, you will able to see the ferociousness headhunting Murut tribe or the happiness Kadazan, Dusun tribe living life.

In Mari Mari Cultural Village will pass through the traditional style of the aborigines houses, including the famous longhouses of the Rungus and Murat's majestic residences living space. You will find out the real life of their daily routine.

Visitors can try to cook the authentic traditional food and learn the survival skills of how to get fire, hunt and build a house from these aboriginals.

Communicating with the friendly Mari Mari “villagers”, you will have an impressive and different memory and experience.

After the tour, you can enjoy a Sabah's gourmet buffet the taste of the unique lemon ceviche and wild mango while watching the cultural performances by the aborigines.

*Cultural Village has 3 sessions a day:
Morning-10:00AM;
Afternoon-14:00PM;
Evening-18:00PM
*The recommended tour will be in the morning. If you would like to book the afternoon tour, please contact customer service representative to re-confirm.

Precautions

1. Once the booking process has been completed, our customer service representative will contact the travellers and please provide your group details for insurance purpose.
2. Our customer service representative will provide the details of the local guide, contact number and car plate number before 9pm on the night before the tour commencement.
3. Travellers with the following conditions are not recommended for participation: pregnancy, infant and senior citizens (65 years old and above).
4. Travellers must standby at meeting point 5-10 minutes before the pickup time, if the travellers are late for the pick up will consider cancelling the tour and non-refundable.
5. Outskirt hotel pick up and drop off surcharges: 1-3 people (MYR15/Per). 4 people and above (MYR10/per). Please pay directly to the driver.
6. Surcharge for Japanese or Korean speaker guide require MYR300/per guide, please pay directly to the guide.
7. In case of any traffic control, unforeseen circumstances, unexpected weather contributed to cancel any attractions, please contact our customers representative, we will conduct a reasonable refund for you.
8. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, unexpected weather, please respect the decision of the captain. Please respect the Captain's professional decision either postpone, cancel, continue the tour or return. Same as the snorkeling trip, the captain has to ensure the safety of our customers of any activities.
9. This tour is not available on the peak season. (Lunar Chinese New Year, Christmas, National day season of PROC., etc.)

No pets allowed, otherwise Haplay Tour has the right to cancel the itinerary and non-refundable.

Refund

1) 10% administration fees will be charged for cancellation in one week and one week above before the tour commencement.
2) 50% administration fees will be charged for cancellation within one week before the tour commencement, to compensate for the loss of driver and local guide.
3) Non-refundable for cancellation within 24 hours before the tour commencement, to compensate for the loss of driver and local guide.

Full refund.
If you fall to sick on the day, please provide your medical certificate for inspection and 10% of the administration fees will be charged.
