< Liyu Lake >
Liyu Lake is located at the buttom of Chinan Village, Shoufeng Township. It is named Liyu Lake because of the East Liyu"s Mountain. It is the largest inland lake in Hualien County. The shape of Liyu Lake is long between north and south and narrow between East and West, which can be divided into South Lake and North Lake. A good place for a picnic and a trip.

The campus of Dong Hwa University is quite large, the European style building and the beautiful lakeside create an intellectual and leisurely atmosphere, suitable for taking photos at the lake, or you can cycling or walking in this romantic atmosphere.


< Hualien Tourism Sugar Factory >
Hualien Tourist Sugar Factory is located in Guangfu Township, Hualien. It was an important sugar factory in the east during the Japanese occupation. After the suspension of the in 2002, it was transformed into a sightseeing sugar factory. In recent years, the park combined with guided tours, Japanese-style wooden houses, sugar factory ice products, DIY hand-made courses, riding horses to in the park, local specialties, etc., provide visitors with a rich experience of living, eating, and fun.

< Chihsingtan > (Seven Star Lake)
"Chihsingtan is a curved bay. It is located in Beipu Village, Xincheng Township, north of Hualien. Chihsingtan has a rich natural and humanistic landscapes, where you can have a view of Qingshui cliffs. Also, a good place for surfing rocks.
