< Anping Castle >
In 1624, the Dutch built the first castle in Taiwan named Angers, which is now the Anping Castle. During the Qing Dynasty, the political center moved to Chengfu, and gradually lost its value. In 1975, due to the cooperation with the tourism plan, the Tainan Municipal Government refurbished it and is the appearance of the Anping Castle that we now see.

Anping Old Street has been titled as Taiwan's First Street, the first street established by the Dutch in Anping more than 300 years ago. There are many old-fashioned settlements in the lanes, and it feels as if time is flowing backwards.

The tree house is located behind the Deji Yanghang. It was originally the warehouse of Deji Yanghang. The current scale is expanded under Japan colonial period. The red brick wall is filled with the air roots of the eucalyptus tree, forming a unique symbiosis of the house and tree. The gaps between the tree trunks make a perfect walkway for people to walk through to explore the mystery and beauty of the tree house .

Deji Yanghang is a foreign-style building with a pure white appearance. It is a stronghold established by British businessmen after the opening of Anping. The main business is exporting camphor, sugar and tea, and importing opium. Nowadays, it has lost its commercial function and changed to a wax musuem, showing the early life of Taiwan.
